Viewing Properties

Viewing Properties simply lets property

All viewings are accompanied, either by a member of staff or in certain circumstances a landlord, or a tenant and a member of staff.

Should you wish to view a property we will be delighted to arrange this for you. All we ask is that when an appointment has been agreed you ensure you attend at the time arranged, or if for any reason you are not able to keep the appointment, let us know in good time so that we may cancel. We will of course will respect the same courtesy if there are circumstances beyond our control and therefore we will always ask you for a contact number where we can speak to you or leave a message on the day of the viewing,  just in case!

We always try to be as flexible as possible with arrangements but please note that for a typical property viewings take around 10 – 15 minutes, if you have not arrived after 10 minutes the representative from Simply Lets may assume you are not coming and will reserve the option to proceed to their next appointment. Please understand that it may not always be possible under such circumstances to return to the property later if the diary is full and so we ask that you always arrive as promptly as possible.

When viewing a property please ask as many questions as you wish. If we are not able to answer them at the time we will always find out the answer for you. When you apply for a property, the property will be understood as ‘taken as seen’ so please satisfy yourself you know all important details and aspects of the home you wish to rent before making an application.  If you have any concerns please clearly make your application subject to any provisions that are a requirement of your taking the tenancy on the General Tenancy Application form (please see ‘Applications and Fees’ under ‘Tenants’).  This will avoid any confusion or disappointment later.

Please be aware that some of our properties may still be occupied by the outgoing tenant and therefore arranging a viewing may take a day or so.  In such circumstances, when you do view we ask that you show courtesy to the tenants and respect their reasonable privacy.
