we all know … even with the greatest care, sometimes accidents happen.

When they happen in your own home they are bad enough, but if they happen in a rented property, you may find yourself liable for the costs of repair or replacment of a damaged item before you leave. In the case of a carpet for instance this could be an expensive exercise!

We recommend that all tenants therefore take measures to protect themselves from possible unfortunate eventualities. Such eventualities include accidental damage but can also include more serious problems such as redundancy or illness which may temporarily stop you from earning and which may therefore prevent you from being able to afford to pay your rent, utilities or other important bills.

Protecting yourself through insurance is an option, and often costs less than you think.
