History

Simply Lets is one of Worcestershire’s longest established independent specialist letting agent.  We are a company dedicated solely to residential letting and professional property management.

Formed shortly after the 1988 Housing Act came into force Simply Lets was founded as a partnership between Jonathan Sugden and Paul Coulson, based in a small office in Droitwich. Within a year the company had out grown the offices and moved to ground floor showroom and offices in Worcester, eventually expanding to take over the whole building. In 1997 we opened the first offices in Bromsgrove and again out grew these in just 12 months opening new premises with a prominent ground floor show room on Worcester Street in the town centre.

We became members of the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) in 1992, now amalgamated into the FoPP (Federation of Property Professionals)  and took the ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) qualifying exams and interviews in 1995. We have remained qualified members ever since.

We are also members of FSB (The Federation of Small Businesses) and the OEA (Ombudsman for Estate Agents) who cover the letting practices of all Letting Agents.

In 2003 the company became Ltd and Jonathan Sugden took the position of Managing Director.  He has considerable wide ranging experience and knowledge of the property field, having worked in it for almost 30 years and having held senior positions in both leading independant and national property agencies in the Midlands before founding Simply Lets.

Over the last twenty years Simply Lets has established itself as one of the county’s largest independent exclusive letting agencies, with our success and continuing growth being the direct result of conscientious and professional service.

Enquiries have shown that over 40% of instructions we now receive stem from personal recommendation, this is a reputation we are very proud of and something we intend to build on to continue providing the best service to our clients.
